PROVING - Every Ancestor of Roger Lee Fetty including George Fetty Sr and Phebe were 100 % Indo-European.

Y-DNA results show No Mediterranean Ancestry and No Viking Ancestry.

Note:

Approx. 1/3 of US Caucasian Europeans have a significant percentage of East-Asian Ancestry likely from the invasions of the various hordes of Huns and Mongol tribes into Germany, then the German migration aka Pennsylvania German (Deutsch) to the US. No East-Asian Ancestry is found in George Sr. and Phebe's descendant as is shown above.

George Fetty Sr was born near Princeton New Jersey 1753/55 and served in the New Jersey Militia later moving to Pennsylvania at approx. age of 30 years then to Virginia (WV).

Gene: the basis of the word Gene-alogy

We understand there are a few genealogists left that can't see past their paper trails of fiction such as Birth Certificates.

Birth Certificates do not list the biological father - 28% percent of paternity tests conducted in 1999 proved the man being tested was not the biological father - DNA can show the true and thorough family Ancestry.

All data recorded at "Family Tree DNA"

Fetty Haplogroup is R1b3

Spread of Haplogroups R1b, I and R1a (12,000 years ago)

- Haplogroup R1b is common on the western Atlantic coast as far as Scotland.
- Haplogroup
I is common across central Europe and up into Scandinavia.
- Haplogroup
R1a is common in eastern Europe and has also spread across into central Asia and as far as India and

Pakistan.

The Fetty Family DNA from Europe

A new map showing more DNA results from Europe will be added as soon as time permits.

Our DNA results prove to be from the Haplogroup "R1b3", this is the Haplogroup of the Celts of Gaul where our DNA mutated to R1b3 from R1b.

(Note- our Fetty DNA closely matches DNA of the Brythonic Celtic (Indo-European, comprising Cornish, Welsh, and Briton -Brittany). We do not match DNA of Germanic-Scandanavian).

18,000 years ago - Fetty DNA is proven to be from the R1b Haplogroup (p25+) of Paleolithic Western/Europe 18,000 years ago. This is the Haplogroup of the Atlantic Modal Haplotype that include the Celtic, Basque, Bretagne and Flemish.

2,700 years ago - In early 700 BC, Celts sspread west from the Austrian Alps and upper Danube, through Germany and France and by early 500 BC they had crossed the Pyrenees and into over half of the Iberian Peninsula (Spain) occupying western Europe.

Some Brythonic Celts had entered the British Isles around 700 - 100 BC, while others remained on the Continent, primarily in Gaul - (the modern territories of France, Belgium, Luxembourg, west of the Rhine). Circa 2,500-3,000 YTD in Gaul our (Fetty) Brythonic Celtic DNA mutated to (DYS #391 = 10 from 11).

(100 BC) Germanic Tribes moved into the central and southern area of modern Germany. This brought them into contact with the Celts. There were also Celts east of the Rhine. Celtic people dominated some Germanic tribes and some Germanic tribes spoke Celtic and some Celtic tribes spoke Germanic.

2,000 years ago - The term Germanic refers to that branch of Indo-European speaking people who, at one time, shared a common language, culture, and belief. Germanic tribes migrated and settled lands of Europe from 100 BC -650 AD that became: France, England, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Northern Italy. Some Celtic/Germanic tribes were a mix of Celts and Germani.

700 years ago - One of the earliest references to the Fetty name or to a variant is a record of one named Faitis who appeared on the Paris, France tax roles in 1292, hundreds of years after 1292 our surname is found in many countries in and near France to this day. The Fetty DNA and Surname is found today and in history from the Alps of Austria-France-Germany and Northward.

(Note - our Fetty DNA closely matches DNA of the Brythonic Celtic (Indo-European, comprising Cornish, Welsh, Briton-Brittany). We do not match DNA of Scandinavian/ Norse or Germanic).

A comparison to those tested from Europe reveals 17 persons to be 1(one) "genetic distance" step away from the Fetty DNA and they are from Wales(2), England(11), Germany(1) and New York(1) and Utah(2), USA.

The Protestant Reformation began in Germany (1517) and spread quickly in France

On Oct. 18, 1685, Louis XIV pronounced the revocation of the Edict of Nantes. As a result, over the next several years, France lost an additional 400,000+ of its Protestant inhabitants (Huguenots). From the 1500-1700's many emigrated to England, Prussia, the Netherlands, and America and became very useful citizens of their adopted countries. Some later immigrated to America after several generations in their adopted countries.

The Fetty Family DNA is unique with DNA similarities found from the Alps of Austria-France-Germany and northward. (Celtic DNA plus the Fetty Surname recorded in many provinces of France for 700+ years locates our DNA and surname relatives from the Alps of Austria-France-Germany and northward).
